I couldn’t hide the chill in my voice. “He owes me his life.”
At the Red Blood Pack, Eloise grabbed my hand, her eyes red from crying.
“Jasmine, can you try convincing Fierce to accept the procedure?
“I’m likely the last person Alpha Fierce wants to see right now. Whatever I say, he’ll think I’m trying to harm him.”
I let out a breath. “Doesn’t he believe in Lotus more than anyone? Maybe she should be the one to talk to him.
At the mention of Lotus, Eloise’s jaw tightened with fury.
Still, there was no better option, so she told her servant to go get Lotus.
Lotus knelt beside Alpha Fierce’s bed, sobbing hard.

Alpha Fierce lifted his hand to calm her, but when he moved his lower body, his expression twisted with pain.

Looking at his injured legs, Lotus remembered Eloise’s furious warning.
Her hands shook as she held his. “Alpha Fierce, you need to listen to the immortal doctor. Your legs might not be healed…”
Alpha Fierce stared at Lotus, his eyes wide with shock.
“Lotus, do you even hear yourself right now? You told me you could fix my legs!
“I’ve followed every step you told me to. So why are you saying now that it can’t be healed!?”

Then, all of a sudden, she stood up. Her eyes were bloodshot as she pointed straight at me.
