Chapter121
His voice broke on the last words. “Answer me, damn W
Yet Michael said nothing. He just stood there, holding his down
low,
Jayden took a step back, his shoulders shaking slightly, “Well
then, I guess this is it. You’ve said everything through your
silence. I was never the brother you trusted”
He turned and walked away, utterly disappointed.
Violet wiped her tears and turned to Kylie, “You know what?
Had you and your mother not pulled my father into your
twisted schemes, maybe–just maybe we can start over. But you
were responsible for my father’s death. And for that, I will
never forgive you”
Kylie didn’t argue. She bit her lips, tears streaming down her
face.
Violet turned to Michael. “I don’t even know who you are
anymore. You’re not the brother I grew up with. And my biggest regret is that somewhere along the way, I didn’t see it

coming. I lost my brother, and I didn’t even notice.” Her voice
wavered, and she covered her mouth, choking into her hands.
I held her tighter, “It’ll be over soon!”
“I can’t be here when it happens.I just can’t,” she whispered.
She broke away from me and left without another word.
I took a deep breath, forcing myself to remain calm.
“This is it, the end of the road for both of you. I hope the power
you both so desperately craved was worth the price you paid.” I
looked at Isaac and Kylie. Their faces were empty.
“The execution will be carried out tonight.”
I said it to the room. My face remained cold as I delivered my
brother’s fate, my friend’s end. And even though I had just
sentenced my own family to death, I can’t show any weakness.
Asher’s POV
“Mom, Dad, I know this isn’t how you wanted things to turn
out. I know I’ve let you down in more ways than one, and I can’t
change what’s already been done, but I hope you can
understand why it had to be this way.”
Chapter121
I looked up at the sky, whispering the words I wished they
could hear. I couldn’t even talks to their grave because they were
buried in Silver Moon Packs. A hollow ache sat heavy in my
chest. If they were alive, would they still looks at me the same
way? Or would they be disappointed, seeing the choices had
made, the people I had lost?
“At least you’re not here to witness this. If you were, I know it
would have broken your hearts!
I swallowed hard, trying to ignore the sting in my throat. I had
tried hard to fix things with Isaac, but it was like grasping at
smoke, He never saw my efforts, never saw how much !
wanted him to be family. And now, it was too late,
“I hope one day you’ll forgive me for the decisions I’ve made” I
murmured, a lump in my throat. “Even if they were necessary”
I lifted my gaze to the sky, my vision blurring. The weight of it
all crashed down on me, and for the first time in a long while, I
let the tears fall.
Men weren’t supposed to cry, Alphas weren’t supposed to show
weakness. But my brother was gone.
The worst part? That despite everything, he was still my

brother.
I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, and I knew instantly who
it was.
Violet held me tightly, her warmth grounding me in a moment
where I felt like I was slipping away. We grieved together,
mourning the people we had lost, even though they had never
given us the same love in return.
“I’m relieved we weren’t there to watch it happen,” she
murmured against my shoulder. “Seeing him die in front of us…
that would’ve haunted us forever!“”
I nodded. The sentence was cruel, but it was done.
“It still feels unreal,” she sighed. “I don’t even know how I’m
supposed to feel about this. Losing a sibling… it’s supposed to
hurt more, isn’t it? But they did everything they could to
destroy us, and yet… they were still part of us.”
She pulled away slightly, looking up at me. “I just want Mia to
grow up in a world where we don’t have to worry about this.
Where she’s safe.”
I cupped her face gently, pressing a kiss to her forehead. “She
will be. I’ll make sure of it.”
Chapter 21
This moment alone with mate was precious and exactly the
thing that I needed now. But it seemed that every time we tried
to find a moment of peace, something pulled us back in.
“Alpha Charlotte wants to see you, King Asher” Simon came
over and told us.
I sighed. “Tell her I’m busy right now.”
