Chapter84
“Violet! No, no no no.VIOLET!!” I cried, hugging her tightly. No,
things have been crazy enough already. Don’t take Violet away
from me too. I couldn’t lose her!
My voice alerted people outside. Philip and Olivia came
storming in. His face turned grim when he saw the unconscious
Violet in my arms. He swayed, and most dropped to his knees.
“God.Oh my god.” he choked in tears, holding his sister’s hand
and squeezing it hard. I could tell how much pain he was in.
“This is what Isaac wants isn’t it? First Mia, then Michael, and
now Violet. He’s going after us one by one! It’ll only be a matter
of time when it’s my turn.”
Olivia trembled by his side, obviously shaken by the thought.
I clenched my teeth in anger. He was right. This was Isaac’s
plan. He wanted me to suffer, not just physically, but almost
emotionally. That’s why he wasn’t going after me directly but
picking on people that I cared about. He knew this would hurt
me more.
And now that I knew Isaac got help from the Royal Council, I
pters
could tell this was what the council wanted too. Those old
bastards had orchestrated this, manipulated us all. This entire
mess was a test–testing whether Violet and her brothers had
the power to stop the Celestine Bloom from killing people. If
Violet gave Mia her blood and it woke our daughter, the council
would have their answer. Once they got what they wanted,
they’d attack.
“They’re playing with us,” I muttered, my fists clenching.
“Testing us like lab rats. It’s all just a game to them.”
Philip’s eyes were hard. “We need to step up security.”
“It won’t work.” Olivia said, shivering. “They can come and go
whenever they want. Remember? They and their fucking
magic.””
My stomach churned with frustration. Philip was right. Olivia,
too. But we couldn’t just give up.
“Maybe I should go back to Silver Moon Pack with Jayden.”
Philip wiped his face with his hand, obviously exhausted. “We
need to look for Michael. Jayden can’t do it alone.”
“No, stay here.” I insisted. “You are my Beta. I need your help.
Plus if you leave now, they’ll strike before you even get to

Silver Moon Pack. We can’t afford to lose anyone else.”
He nodded reluctantly, the weight of the situation weighing
heavily on him. I could see the frustration in his eyes, but he
trusted me.
I took a deep breath, forcing myself to steel up. My mate was
down, my daughter was in danger, and everyone I cared and
loved were counting on me. I couldn’t let them down.
I let Olivia take care of Violet and went to gather all the other
Alphas and captains. We didn’t have time to waste.
“Those rogues are hurting our children, tramping on our
kingdom, and challenging my authority.” I said, my voice
booming in the room. “We’ll fucking hit back. Hit them hard
and hit them at their weakest. It’s time to declare a war against
them.”
There was an outbreak of noises. People whispered to each
other. They all seemed to like this idea.
Simon spoke up first, “But we don’t even know Isaac’s
weaknesses. He’s got this magic shield protecting all the rogues.
He can show up to our land whenever he wants, but we can’t find him. It’s so goddamn frustrating.”
“This is crazy. Isaac is a rogue, an enemy tỏ
help an enemy?”
They were still playing dumb with me, which pissed me off. My
mate was in pain and my daughter was still in a coma because
of them. And they were still wasting my time by playing me
like a fool!
