Genevieve’s Point of View
“Are you sure you’re okay?” Enzo asked me for the nth time.”
“Yeah.“%
He stared at me for a moment before returning his focus to his phone. We’re currently in the car, heading to the mall.
After a few minutes, we arrived, and the driver parked the car in a space in the parking lot.
“Let’s go, baby,” Enzo said.”
He alighted and held the door open until I alighted too. He reached for my hand and intertwined our fingers.
“What should we get first?” he asked./
*Shoes,” I answered, totally absentmindedly as my mind was focused on how to sneak out.”
“Alright, let’s see what we can get from this shop.” He pointed at a bag shop not too far from us.”
“Hm,” I hummed in reply.”
We entered the shop. I tried to find an opportunity to sneak away but didn’t get any, as Enzo was closely following me. He kept recommending brands of bags to me, telling me how they’d look good on me–a stranger might even mistake him for a salesman.
“I need to come up with a plan,” I murmured to myself, but he heard me.”
“Did you say something?” he asked.
“Let’s go get some clothes,” I changed my words quickly.
He frowned slightly, probably confused by my sudden change of mind. “But you haven’t decided on what bag you want.“>
“I need to get the clothes first so that I can know which kind of bags to buy.”
“True, true.” He dropped the bag he was holding and grabbed my hand. “Let’s go.”
I looked at two of his men who were following us. I had been so focused on sneaking away from Enzo that I almost forgot about these two men. It’s going to be hard to escape them.”
“I just want to remind you, baby, don’t hold back while you’re shopping. You can get whatever you want, and I’ll pay for it. I don’t care how much it costs,” he said.”
His offer was tempting, and I’d be dancing in excitement if I wasn’t focused on my escape plan.}
“Are your men going to follow us throughout the day?” I asked.}
He took a quick glance at them and nodded. “Is there a problem?”
“No, I just… I trailed off, not knowing what to say.”
*Are you feeling uncomfortable with them around? I can ask them to wait outside if you want.”
I nodded quickly. “Yes, please.” I looked around, pretending to be shy. “There are so many eyes watching us because of their presence.“} He faced the men and signaled them to leave. They bowed respectfully, then left.
I let out a quiet sigh because the first step of my plan was accomplished.
“Much better,” I smiled.
We took a few steps before arriving at a clothing boutique. I enthusiastically dragged Enzo inside.
“Hello, welcome to Style Sanctuary,” a saleswoman greeted us with a warm smile.
“Hello,” I returned her smile.
“We are happy to have you. Would you like to browse around, or do you have something in mind already?” she asked. ‘Em… Show me your latest designs.”
“Sure. This way, please.“”
Enzo was about to follow us, but I stopped him and showed him a waiting area.
“How about you rest here and wait for me?” I asked suggestively.
‘But… …“%
“I will be back in ten minutes,” I assured him.
He stayed silent for a while but eventually agreed. I made sure he had sat down before leaving with the saleswoman.” “Our new designs are–“%
“Don’t worry about it, III just buy whatever I can get my hands on, I interrupted her, picking some random clothes along.
Oh 2
“Show me to the dressing room.“%
“Right this way, ma’am” She led the way.
We soon arrived at the dressing room. And before I could enter, I gasped and faced her.”
“Ah! I forgot I’m supposed to get my husband’s review on my new clothes. Can you please go get my husband for me?”
“Sure, she replied, then left
I threw the clothes on a chair near the dressing room and ran away. The saleswoman is going to be in trouble for my escape, but I don’t

Third Person’s Point of View
Enzo’s heart gladdened when the saleswoman informed him that Genevieve was requesting his presence to get his review on her choice of clothes.
His eyes eagerly watched the dressing room as he waited for Genevieve to walk out.” “Why is she taking so long?” he asked. He’d been waiting for almost ten minutes.
“I’ll check. Maybe she’s having trouble with the dress,” the saleswoman replied.
She entered the dressing room but soon came out with a nervous expression.”
“Sir, there… there’s… there’s a problem.“N
“A problem? What problem? Did my wife break something?” he scoffed. “Don’t worry, I’ll pay for whatever she broke.“}]
“That’s not it, sir. Your wife is missing. She’s not inside.”
“What?!” Enzo pushed her out of his way and rushed inside to confirm.“]
“Where is my wife?” he roared when he saw the room was empty.“]
“I don’t know, sir, I…”
“What do you mean you don’t know? My wife and I came to your boutique together, and she suddenly goes missing, and you’re telling me you
don’t know where she is?!“>
“Sir, I…”
“Where is your manager? Get your manager here!”
Just at that moment, the two bodyguards whom Enzo had sent out earlier came to him with worried expressions.”
“Boss, we’ve just got a report from Mrs. Enzo’s secret bodyguards. She is heading to the Truck Park,” one of them reported.}]
“Fuck!” Enzo growled.
His expression transformed into fear because he knew how dangerous the Truck Park was. It’s a place where different Mafia gangs hang around, and any random person who intrudes would be shot dead on sight.
He clenched his jaw and balled his fists tightly, then stormed out of the boutique.”
“Get the car ready!” he roared, and one of the men ran out to carry out his order.
“Tell Marco to watch her closely. Not a hair on her head should be hurt!”
