Alex quickly regained his composure.

“Your Highness, today is your wedding day with Bellona Wright. The Alpha and Luna await you at the palace. Don’t let your jealousy ruin this sacred occasion.”
Alex’s nostrils flared as he caught the scent of my defiance.

Before I could respond, Bellona Wright came running in, her dress torn and her eyes red from crying.

That night, in the palace, Bellona’s howls of rage echoed through the corridors, while Alex retreated to his study.
The next morning, Steven and I entered the palace hand in hand, our scents intertwined in a clear sign of our new bond.
Alex’s eyes locked onto our joined hands, and his snarl was filled with a mixture of jealousy and anger.
