When I woke up. Tony was still holding me in his arms. I felt embarrassed when I remembered what had happened.
I felt like slapping myself again. Hadn’t I promised not to sleep with him again?
“How are you feeling this time?” He suddenly asked, and 1 froze in his arms.
I didn’t answer him. Like what was I even supposed to say?
Tony burst out laughing, and I looked at him in confusion. “What’s wrong?” I asked.
“Are you still mad at me?” He asked, still chuckling.
1 scoffed and sat up, pulling the covers over me to cover my naked body as I looked for my clothes.
“I asked some people to look around for the kid,” he spoke up again. And this time. I looked at him.
“Really?” I asked. Didn’t he say that he wasn’t going to do it?
Tony scoffed and got up too. Unlike me, he just got out of the bed without any clothes. I felt a little embarrassed looking at him like that. So I looked away.
“Didn’t you want to cry just because of him?” He asked. He didn’t seem bothered that I was looking at his naked body.
I licked my lips in embarrassment. “Thank you.” I said. I knew that I had overreacted when he refused to help me at first.
Tony scoffed again. He went to the bathroom and when he came back, he only had a towel wrapped around his waist.
“You change so fast, don’t you?” He asked. “One minute, you swear to do anything to stay with me, the next you are threatening to leave…”
He sat back on the bed and looked into my eyes. A smile appeared at the corners of his lips. “You swear never to sleep with me one minute, but the next, you are begging me for more,” he said teasingly.
My face immediately turned red in embarrassment. “You forced yourself on me,” I said. I wasn’t going to let him have the satisfaction he wanted.
Tony raised his brows. “Really?” He asked. “So, if I try it again now, will you push me away?”
I pushed him away and got out of bed. I was glad that this time, I wasn’t in too much pain. “I just did it,” I said and ran to the
bathroom.
Tony chuckled out loud. “Anyway, I like it when you are asking for more.” he shouted
I didn’t answer. I didn’t know how to. He was my boss, for heaven’s sake. As I sat on the toilet bowl, I knew that I had messed up big time.
For a few days, I made sure I locked my door when I went to sleep. I didn’t want him coming into my room.
Luckily, my nightmares reduced and I barely sleepwalked. Maybe it was because I was used to my environment now.
Although Tony made fun of me from time to time, he didn’t do anything inappropriate. But he was softer towards me. He
made me feel at home.
In the evening, while he was in his study room on a virtual meeting, I was in the kitchen preparing dinner for us.
Most of the time, he ordered takeout for us. But when he was in a good mood, he would personally cook.
Since he was busy today, I decided to try cooking. I wasn’t so much a fan of it.
