Chapter 12%
When I heard that Maya’s child had been punched out of her womb by Damian, I felt no joy.
Because no matter who it was, losing a child was a kind of pain that cuts deep.X
But what I didn’t expect was that Sebastian would show up again that very night–this time, at the ancestral estate of the Silver Moon
Consortium
There was despair in his eyes, a manic glint that bordered on madness. His thin frame swayed in the winter wind like it could collapse at any second, radiating a kind of tragic dignity–like someone ready to die
“Damian! You monster!” he roared, his voice hoarse and twisted with agony. “You killed my child!”
Damian was lounging in the living room, basking in the quiet luxury while being served by attendants. When he heard the screaming, he stood abruptly, a flicker of annoyance and disdain crossing his face.
To him, a weak little Omega like Sebastian wasn’t even worth his notice.
“Where the hell did this lunatic come from? Damian sneered.
With a sharp crack and a surge of power, his body shifted–muscles bulging, claws gleaming–until he was in his half–wolf Allpha form, towering and dominant, taking up nearly the whole room. The weight of his Alpha aura was suffocating, pressing down like a tangible force.
Sebastian shuddered under the prossum, but he didn’t back down.
Instead, he pulled a silver dagger from his coat and charged at the Alpha he once followed with blind loyalty
“I’ll make you pay! You’ll pay for my child’s life!” he screamed, his voice broken, tears and mucus blurring his like a man possessed.
Damian only let out a disdainful chuckle. He didn’t even bother using his enhanced speed.
Just one lazy swipe of his clawed hand, and a loud thud sounded.
vision na he lunged forward
Sebastian’s body slammed into the wall like a rag doll, then slid to the floor in a heap. His head twisted at an unnatural angle, blood streaming from every orifice. He twitched once, twice, and then lay still lifeless D
A moment later, Maya entered behind him–only to find Sebastian’s crumpled, convulsing corpse on the floor.
Her eyes widened in horror as grief surged through her like a tidal wave. She wanted to cry, to run to her fated mate’s side and cradle him one last time, but when her gaze met Damian’s cold, stormy expression–she froze
She couldn’t cry
She couldn’t show even a flicker of sadness or attachment toward Sebastian–not in front of Damian
“What the hell are you doing here? Damian’s voice thundered, still laced with oppressive Alpha authority. He clearly hadn’t forgiven her for getting pregnant
Maya Swallowed the lump in her throat, pushed back the agony tearing at her chest, and forced herself to smile weakly
She stumbled forward and threw herself into his arms, trembling, pretending to be a fragile little thing who had just witnessed a termble scene. “Daddy, I saw that madman on my way home… I was so scared he’d hurt you. I’m just glad you’re okay…”
Damian shoved her away in disgust.
“You idiot! If you hadn’t been spreading your legs, that trash wouldn’t have come here in the first place!”
His eyes were filled with contempt. To him, killing a low–level werewolf was no different than swatting a fly.
He glanced at her tear–streaked face with nothing but disgust. “Still not getting the message? Get the hell out“:
Maya smiled through the pain and left quietly, her heart breaking with every step. She knew better than anyone–Damian was not a good
man
But she forced herself to hold back the grief of losing her fated mate, and began searching for a new target
Ezequiel, perhaps.
Unfortunately for her, she picked the wrong man.
The moment Maya tried to approach Ezequiel–after treating him like a blood bag–he responded without mercy. With a flick of Alpha pressure, he launched her out of the room, his voice booming like thunder.
“Get out!“!!
The sound shook the walls and carried through the house–so loud that it startled Damian 2
He stormed over, and when he saw Maya sprawled on the floor, clothes disheveled and face flushed with humiliation, his expression darkened into something truly terrifying
“You filthy whore!” he snarled, and kicked her viciously in the ribs, sending pain shooting through her body. Then he slapped her across the face so hard her head snapped to the side.X
Maya curled into herself, her ribs cracking under the impact. Her face stung with searing heat
But she didn’t dare fight back.
She didn’t even dare to cry out
She simply took the beating in silence, tears sliding down her cheeks like rivers no one could see..
