Vivian, who stood beside them, lit up with glee.}
“Mom, Dad, don’t worry. My baby with Julian will be born healthy and strong. Just get ready to be grandparents.“>
Julian glanced at her belly, thoughtful.
I couldn’t help laughing and covered my mouth.
“Vivian, are you sure you’ll make them grandparents?“}
Maddie’s expression hardened.§
“Evelyn, it’s bad enough you refused to help Julian, but now you’re cursing his child on our property?”
Vivian quickly put on a pitiful act.
“Sister, I know you hate me, but the baby’s innocent. Why would you say something so cruel?“}
I couldn’t be bothered to argue. I turned to Julian.
“Haven’t watched the wedding gift I left you yet? There’s something in that flash drive you’d never expect.“”
“But hey, if you’re not curious… just ignore it.“)
Julian opened his mouth, but Vivian rushed forward.
“You filled that USB with lies to ruin me! You begged me to marry Julian and now you want to tear us apart?“}
“You’re already married to Lucas! Why can’t you just leave me and Julian alone? Say one more word and I swear I’ll rip your mouth open!“} Lucas stepped between us, shielding me.
“Vivian, if you touch Evelyn, I won’t stop at your mouth. I’ll take that baby with it.“}]
Vivian stumbled back, terrified.}
She grabbed Julian’s arm, tears falling fast.
“Julian, they’re bullying me–and your child! Aren’t you going to defend us?“>
Julian’s eyes moved from her belly to her face. Then he said calmly:
“If you’re that scared of the flash drive, maybe we should see what’s on it. Vivian, hand it over.”
Vivian’s face flushed.}
“I… I lost it. I didn’t want anything that belonged to Evelyn.”
Julian smirked.
“Lost it? Or destroyed it?“}
Before she could answer, his assistant entered holding a slim laptop.
“Sir, I managed to recover the flash drive. It’s all here.”
Vivian’s panic was too late. The videos began playing across the screen.
Maddie gasped and screamed.}
“Vivian, what on earth have you done?!“}}
The clips were explicit. Vivian with different men–her so–called lovers–complete with timestamps and dates.
I tilted my head toward Julian, pretending to be concerned.
“Based on those dates… the baby might not even be yours.“}
Julian’s face twisted in fury. He lunged forward and grabbed Vivian by the throat.”
“You shameless traitor. You humiliated me with how many affairs? I don’t care whose baby this is–I don’t want it.”
“Someone as filthy as you don’t deserve to carry my child. Guards–take her to the hospital. I want that pregnancy terminated. Now.”
Vivian wailed and begged, but Julian didn’t flinch–not even once.
