Austin had a proud look on his face as he picked up the veil and gestured it onto her head.
Hailey praised him and then lowered her voice to start flattering him.
Why would such an outstanding, young talent like him agree to marry me?
When it came to this topic, Austin raised an eyebrow and became even more cocky.
“Andrew was famously known as an iceberg, in scientific research. From childhood to adulthood, he was wholeheartedly devoted to the medical profession, considering all romantic relationships as mere distractions. Naturally, his family urged him to settle down, and of course, a few of us good friends had to help in finding a suitable match. However, we introduced him to more than ten people, and he didn’t like any of them.”

Hailey thought carefully and realized that she had indeed heard about the arranged marriage six months ago.
She didn’t know about Caroline’s situation at that time, so she didn’t agree no matter how her family persuaded her.
