In the VIP ward, Hunter was peeling an apple for Eleanor.
“Eleanor, you can be discharged today. I will pick you up and take you back to the villa by South Lake.”
Upon hearing Hunter say this, Eleanor was overjoyed and immediately clung to his arm, acting coquettishly.
“I knew it, Hunter is the best to me. You like me the most, don’t you?”

Based on Lena’s personality, even if they have a fight and stop talking to each other, they will never go more than three days without contacting each other.
In the past, it was always Hunter who took the initiative to apologize to

Later, Eleanor wrapped her legs around his waist, encircled his neck, closed her eyes, and Hunter instantly felt a rush of heat as he carried her up to the master bedroom on the second floor, where they were entwined in endless passion.
From then on, Hunter would rush to this villa as soon as he got off work. Without Lena’s obstruction, the two of them no longer needed to hide.
The week passed in such debauchery, yet there was still no news from
Lena.
In the company, Hunter finally noticed something was wrong.
He had his assistant check her credit card transaction records, all of which were from a few weeks ago.
This is so strange, Lena never left home without her credit card.
Did she have an accident?
This terrible thought kept circling in Hunter’s mind, causing him to daydream all afternoon and not do his work properly.
In the end, he decided to go back to their house and see what was really going on with her.
That evening, he called Eleanor in advance and said he had to work overtime for the company. Then he took the car keys and drove to the

As the sky darkened, the sports car raced all the way to the former residence. Hunter was surprised to find that not a single light was on in the house. This was really strange.
At that moment, he felt as if there were drums beating in his heart, and his hands were shaking as he entered the password.
The door was open, and the room was eerily quiet.
