“Victor Sterling!”
Lily’s eyes lit up. Enduring the pain, she stood up and anxiously called out to Victor Sterling.
“You’re finally here! Tell them to let my sister go!”
Victor Sterling’s gaze swept over the wound on Lily’s forehead. His face grim, he looked at his secretary, Jessica.
“What’s going on here?”
Jessica lowered her head and stepped forward, speaking with utmost deference.
“Mr. Sterling, someone is impersonating Lily Hayes‘ sister and causing trouble.”
Victor Sterling’s pupils contracted. His voice trembled slightly.
“Where is she?”
As my father’s most trusted subordinate, Victor Sterling was one of the few who knew my true identity.
Tiffany Vance put down the knife, then walked forward, feigning victimhood, and nodded towards me.
“Brother, it’s her.”
The moment Victor Sterling clearly saw my face, a flicker of shock crossed his eyes, but he quickly regained his
composure.
“The resemblance… it’s striking. Absolutely identical.”
Then, he sighed.

“It’s a pity she’s dead. No matter how much an imitation resembles the original, it’s still just an imitation.”
Lily anxiously stepped forward, her eyes red.
Victor Sterling, my sister isn’t dead! She *is* my sister!”
Victor Sterling looked coldly at Lily.
“Lily Hayes, how long are you going to keep this act up?! It’s one thing to bully Tiffany on a daily basis, but now you’re dragging all these people into your little charade? You’re becoming increasingly unreasonable!”
Lily helplessly took a step back, her eyes wide with disbelief.
“Tm unreasonable? Have you forgotten everything my sister told you before she left the country?!”
Victor Sterling gave Lily a long, deep look, then finally turned away.
“Tiffany, I just came down to take a look. Whatever you want to do, go ahead.”
Tiffany Vance’s face broke into a triumphant smile. She clapped her hands, and the men surged forward again.
“Victor Sterling! Can you truly not tell if I’m real or fake?!”
Hearing my voice, Victor Sterling suddenly spun around, a hint of confusion in his eyes. He raised a hand, stopping the men, and slowly walked closer.
“Even your voice is identical to hers. You must have had a lot of surgeries to look so much like her, didn’t you?”
Victor Sterling gently caressed my face, his eyes filled with a wistful longing.
“It’s a shame you went through all that trouble to look like her; it’s useless. There will only ever be one Seraphina Hayes. What I despise most in this world are those who try to imitate her.”
With that, a ruthless glint flashed in his eyes. He pulled a gun from his waistband and handed it to Tiffany Vance.
“Be quick about it. I handle the aftermath for you.”
Tiffany Vance smiled, taking the gun and giving Lily a provocative glance.
“Yes, big brother.”
Tiffany Vance raised her hand, pointing the gun at me. The second before she pulled the trigger, the club’s main doors crashed open.
Marcus, his face etched with murderous Intent, strode in, followed by a dense phalanx of bodyguards. They instantly knocked the gun from Tiffany Vance’s hand, then half–knelt before me.
“My apologies, Madam. We had to deal with a few nuisances on the way, which caused a slight delay“”
