n minutes earlier, Lena had sent Margot a message.
Lena: (Audrey’s pregnant with triplets. Aunt Amelia says to keep it secret, so don’t tell anyone else.]
Right after that, Lena sent the same message to Miles and Everett. The three of them hadn’t coordinated with each other, but they all coincidentally decided to come over and check on her.
When they learned about the wedding preparations, everyone started offering suggestions. Except for Lucia, they all agreed the ceremony should be grand with high–quality everything.
“Lena.” Audrey crooked her finger, and Lena came over with a big smile. “Audrey, what do you need?”
Audrey hooked her arm around Lena’s neck, smiling in a particularly unsettling way. “You big mouth! Did you go around telling everyone?”
“No! I only told Mom, Dad, and my brothers.” Lena quickly covered her mouth, realizing she’d said too much. She put on a pitiful expression. “Don’t tell Yann, okay? I promise I won’t tell a third—I mean, a fifth person.”
Audrey flicked her nose playfully. Lena giggled.
The guest list was basically finalized, and the evening was approaching. Lucia invited everyone to stay for dinner, but Margot stood up to leave. “Audrey’s tired. We don’t want to impose.”
“What’s she tired from? She hasn’t moved from that chair all day. You’ve all been doing the choosing for her Lucia was about to say more when Logan
shot her a warning look that made her shut up immediately. “You’re leaving too.”
Lucia’s face fell.
All these adults had been running around planning Audrey’s wedding, and Audrey could even be bothered to serve water. She’d barely left that
armchair the whole time. She sat there like some kind of empress while staff kept bringing things for her to choose from.
‘How could she just sit there without feeling guilty?‘ Lucia thought.
When the group reached the front door, Lena stepped back. “You all go ahead. I’m staying tonight to keep Audrey company.”
Miles looked at her with a warning expression. Lena quickly added, “I’ll come home later. Later tonight.”
“Come back early. I need to talk to you,” Margot said as she got into her car.
Lena knew they were calling her back to discuss blind dates, so she wasn’t going anywhere.
After everyone left, Lena ran back cheerfully, shouting as she went, “They’re all gone!”
Audrey finally got up from the sofa and stretched. When Yann left earlier, he had told them to watch her closely. She couldn’t do anything. She’d been stuck on the couch all day and her arms and legs were completely stiff.
Lena followed Audrey to the small garden in the courtyard, reminding her to watch her step when they crossed the threshold.
Audrey stretched her arms and rolled her neck, and Lena didn’t stop her. But when Audrey started doing side bends, Lena quickly grabbed her. “No. You can’t twist your waist.”
“I’m not made of glass.” Audrey rolled her eyes
“Doesn’t matter.” Lena insisted. “Yann told me to watch you the whole time. If Ldon’t, he won’t buy me that new handbag.”
Audrey gave up and could only put her hands on her hips while doing simple arm and leg movements.

Chapter 295
They heard the servants greeting someone outside, Yann was back. Leila acted like she’d completed her mision and called out,
Yann walked over and unbuttoned the top button of his shirt. His deep eyes scanned Audrey from head to toe Sike a laser, checking every Once he confirmed she was perfectly fine, his expression softened.
“I’m returning Audrey to you in perfect condition,” Lena said proudly, raising her eyebrows.
“Send me the style numbers and pictures,” Yann said quietly.
“Thank you, Yann.” Lena turned to leave, then came back. “And thank you, Audrey, for letting me earn this reward.” She kissed Audrey on the cheek and walked away happily. She kissed Audrey on the cheek and walked away happily.
Yann wasn’t pleased about this. He grabbed a tissue and wiped Audrey’s face clean.
Audrey’s head swayed back and forth with his movements. It wasn’t like Lena carried some disease. There was no need to scrub so thoroughly
“I talked to Quentin about this.” Yann cupped her face, making sure no trace of anyone else remained before continuing “He said since this is your fire pregnancy and you’re carrying multiples, you need to take extra care of your body. But don’t stress yourself out too much either?”
“Okay.” Audrey nodded.
After dinner, Yann held her hand as they walked through the courtyard garden. They didn’t even bother going outside the main gate.
Audrey had drunk a lot of soup at dinner, so she got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and found the bed empty beside her.
When she looked up, she saw the curtains leading to the balcony moving in the breeze, revealing the outline of a tall figure.
Yann stood in the darkness like a towering mountain. His deep eyes stared at the night sky with a heavy, brooding expression.
When he first learned about Audrey’s pregnancy, his mind had gone completely blank. After the shock wore off, pure joy flooded through him.
This was the child of his and Audrey’s love–the woman he’d been crazy about for seven years was finally pregnant with their baby. He couldn’t help but feel thrilled about it.
When Yann learned that Audrey was pregnant with triplets, his mind went completely blank again. Then, a deep worry settled in his chest.
That afternoon, Yann went to see Quentin and asked detailed questions about the situation.
The more Quentin explained, the heavier Yann’s heart became.
Modern medical technology was advanced, but women still faced unpredictable risks from pregnancy to delivery.
Audrey was carrying triplets, which meant she’d endure three times the physical pain and risk of anyone else.
Yann would rather not have these three children than see Audrey face even the slightest danger. But when he looked at Audrey’s relaxed and happy expression, he couldn’t bring himself to suggest she give up the babies.
“Why aren’t you sleeping?” Audrey pushed open the door and came in.
Yann quickly draped his jacket over her shoulders. “It’s getting windy tonight. Don’t catch a cold.”
Audrey reached up and cupped his face in her hands. Yann looked down, avoiding eye contact with her.
“What’s wrong? Something bothering you?” Audrey asked.
Yann took her hands and kissed them gently. “Nothing. I’m just too excited to sleep.”

Chapter 295
‘He called this excited?‘ Audrey thought. ‘His face is as dark as the night outside. If she didn’t know how deeply he loved her, she might think he was seeing someone else.
“You’re worried about me?” Audrey stood on her tiptoes and moved closer to his face.
Yann immediately wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her protectively. He didn’t say anything, which meant he agreed.
Audrey traced circles on his chest with her finger. “Everyone else wants twins but can’t have them, and we’re getting triplets in one go. We should be happy about this.”
She continued, “Think about it. You suffer once giving birth to one baby, and you suffer once giving birth to three babies. So really, I’m getting a good deal here.”
Yann pulled her closer into his arms, resting his chin on top of her head and taking a deep breath. “Quentin will arrange professional medical staff to stay with you from tomorrow until you give birth.”
“What? Don’t make such a big deal out of it. That’s too much.” Audrey pressed her ear against his chest, feeling the warmth of his body under the fatiric and listening to his strong, steady heartbeat.
She tried to negotiate with him. “How about two months? They say the first three months are the most dangerous. Once everything’s stable, we won’t need to be so worried.”
Yann didn’t respond.
Audrey looked up at him and tugged at his shirt playfully. “Just two months.”
“Fine.” Yann gave in. ‘Pregnant women need to stay happy, and whatever my wife says goes,‘ he thought. ‘I can figure out what to do after two months when the time comes.‘
While they were getting ready for bed, things were getting chaotic again over at Winifred Manor.
