Amelia’s hands paused in the middle of folding clothes. A moment later, she continued folding.

Melissa lowered her gaze, pulled out a document from her bag, and
handed it to him directly. “Owen, as you know, I came back to finalize my
divorce. However, because my case is difficult, no lawyer is willing to take it. Can you help me?”
Before she even finished, he reached out and took the documents. “Sure.”
With that, he called a partner at his law firm and instructed them to reassign all his current cases as he wanted to focus solely on this divorce.

She became flustered after hearing that. “Forget it. I will look for another lawyer.”
However, Owen cut her off and affirmed, “There’s no need to get another lawyer. I’ll handle this case personally. You just focus on preparing for your tour and don’t worry about anything else.”
Meanwhile, Amelia had witnessed and heard everything from the balcony. With her experience handling over a thousand divorce cases, she could immediately tell that Melissa had an 80% chance of losing.
She knew the only reason Owen had accepted the case so firmly was

The lights in his study stayed on through the night.
Melissa visited every day under the pretense of checking on the case’s

Plus, she’s well- versed in international divorce law, too. If you ask her, she’ll definitely have useful advice.”
