Damien kicked her away and said, “How dare you mention the marriage. certificate? The lawyer just called me and said you have been using Tessa’s illness as an excuse to not proceed with the divorce. Are you. trying to hold onto the title of Mrs. Harvick?”
“I ordered you to go and file for divorce with me right now!”
Dakota endured the pain in his chest and climbed back to his feet once. again.
“It’s not that I was deliberately dragging my feet, Tessa was really sick. And even if we were to go through with the divorce now, it wouldn’t make any difference, Norah has already…”
She stopped suddenly in the middle of her sentence.
Damien was still unaware that Norah had already gotten married to someone else, this was considered a self–exposure.
Damien bent down and grabbed Dakota’s chin, staring at her intensely.
“What has Norah done? Do you know anything?”
Dakota half–opened his mouth, refusing to say anything more.
She knew Damien’s temper very well, and if he found out that Dakota had asked around about these things, he would definitely not let her off
lightly.
Damien saw that she was not speaking, so he raised his hand and slapped

“Bring her to the basement of the villa and lock her up.”
Dakota looked terrified, holding onto his leg tightly and not letting go.
“Don’t do it, Damien. It was my fault, I shouldn’t have lied to you. Please forgive me! Spare me for Tessa’s sake.”
Dakota had witnessed Damien disposing of a man who had made inappropriate advances towards Norah in the basement of the mansion.
The desperate screams and pleas for mercy, as well as the scene of being dragged out with skin torn and flesh exposed all over the body.
Because of this, she had nightmares for several days.

Tessa, lying on the sickbed, was terrified, calling out “Mom, Dad” with at pale face.
Damien didn’t even look at her, he instructed his assistant to have someone from the Child Welfare Center take Tessa away.”
Later, he had his assistant post missing person notices nationwide, offering a reward of twenty million dollars for any information about Mrs. Harvick.
With such a large sum of money as a reward, he just didn’t believe that he
couldn’t find Norah.

But he was clearly consumed with jealousy.
The thought that she had once loved Damien made him itch with hatred.
Norah handed the grapes to Stephen’s mouth, “Have a grape, honey.”
Her calling out “husband” made Stephen feel hot all over.
He turned his head, his Adam’s apple bobbed, and he swallowed hard.
No matter what, Norah could not connect the “aloof and reserved towards women” Chicago prince in other people’s mouths with the blushing, innocent–looking Stephen in front of her.
“Not eating? Then I’ll eat…”
Stephen suddenly turned his head and kissed Norah, quickly placing a hand on her neck.
His kiss was domineering and without any rules, there was no skill to speak of

In between gasps, Norah spoke, “Mr. Zorlock, you’re not a virgin, are you?”
Stephen’s neck turned red.
He kissed her again, forcefully prying open her teeth.
He picked her up horizontally and pressed randomly on the wall, and a door appeared.
Norah stared at the large bedroom that appeared in front of her, lost in thought.
