He continued to plea, “I promise, if you don’t want this child, she can give birth and leave with the baby. I’ll never see her again. Isn’t that enough?”

But more than anything, I felt chilled to the bone. I took a step back, avoided his touch.
My voice turned icy cold when said, “No. Clayton, everything Angelina is going through, she deserves it. If you truly care about her, then the money shouldn’t matter to you, right? I’ve already done the math. Five hundred and sixty million. Sell your company and all your assets, you can just about afford it.” With that, I turned to leave.}

He added, “A wornan this vicious and cold–hearted, does the Kidman Family really dare marry her?“}
Seeing Old Dean’s face turn grim, his smile deepened and continued, “Her friend is two months pregnant. She doesn’t care about the baby’s safety, doesn’t care about her friend’s health, all just to satisfy her own anger. Truth to be told, today was supposed to be our wedding day. But I saw her true face, so I called it off.“}
He said again, “I couldn’t stand by and let the Kidman Family be deceived. These words had to be said! So tell me, Kidman Family, are you still willing to take in a wornan like her?”
As his words fell, the venue erupted in uproar, “Kidnapping? Dark web? That’s playing with human lives!”
Someone surprised and asked, “Miss Monroe can’t be that kind of person… But didn’t her father just die recently? Was she involved in that too? Even if her fiancé cheated, just abort the baby. Why make such a huge mess out of it?”
Everyone turned to me with looks of disdain.
1 suddenly laughed. I laughed and laughed, until my tears fell. I said bitterly, “Clayton, this is what you call love. Your love… I really can’t bear it.”
I flung him away with all my strength.
