Raymond’s face flushed crimson, his lips trembling. Even so, he did not dare speak a word.
This harassment had been going on for a month, and I had finally reached my breaking point. I snatched the snacks from his hand and hurled them forcefully into

He froze, then fixed me with an intense gaze as he feigned sincerity. “Minnie, let’s get back together. I’ve realized I still love you. I loved your diligence before, and I love how captivating you are now.”

His expression turned awkward as he stammered defensively, “I–I didn’t… I–I’ve never slept with her…”

Just then, a piercing yoice cut through the air. “Well, isn’t this interesting! I wondered why you kept disappearing and refusing to marry me! So, you’ve got your eyes on her again!”
Victoria stormed over, her pregnant belly prominent. She grabbed Raymond’s collar.
A crowd quickly gathered to witness the drama. They pointed at us and whispered.
