Stacey was pale and weak, but you could see
the anger.
“You were reborn, right?”
My heart jumped, but I kept my voice calm. “I
don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Stacey gave an evil smile. “Don’t lie to me, I
got reborn too! In the past, there was no
stock transfer agreement. The 60% was
mine!
“I even had a car accident that killed you. You
shouldn’t be alive.”
I raised my brow. “You admit you’re a
murderer? I should call the cops.”
L
Stacey was livid. “Don’t play dumb! You
messed with Kevin’s sperm, didn’t you?”
I said, “If you have proof, go to the cops.
Don’t act crazy with me.”
I wasn’t worried.
I only gave Kevin money, I didn’t actually buy
the sperm facility.
The facility was going to say that Kevin was
the one who gave the sperm.
No one was there to say what happened.
Stacey was angry. “You’re lying! I could have
had Kevin’s child! Our child would be white
and cute! Not that black baby, that can’t be…
I know it!!!
<
What?
Did she die before birth, and not see the
baby?
“Kevin was such a fool!” Stacey growled. “On
his deathbed, he said he couldn’t forget me,
and that he loved me. Why couldn’t he give
me the money? Why did he want me to have
a baby?”
I blinked. “What if Kevin was getting revenge
on you?”
Stacey was stunned!
I continued. “I heard your story. You cheated
on Kevin and Kevin had to break up with you.
<
“What if he hated you and wanted to trick
you? What if he just kept the sperm and had
it in the fertility clinic?”
Stacey’s pupils shrunk, and she was shaking.
“No way! No way… he was so nice, how could
he?”
I could tell she was breaking down.
I added. “With men, don’t see what he’s
saying. See what he’s doing. They all said
Kevin didn’t love me, but he gave me all the
shares.
“The lawyers said it was his handwriting and
fingerprint. That’s why I know he loved me!”
Stacey looked up, confused. “Are you lying to
me? In my past. there was no stock transfer
<
agreement! All the shares were mine!”
I frowned. “I think you need to see a
psychiatrist. What if you weren’t reborn, but
you’re just having delusions?”
“Delu… delusions!”
Stacey was lost, and sat on the ground.
I called my assistant. “Escort her out!”
After going home, Stacey’s mental state got
worse. She couldn’t tell the past from now.
She would hold her baby and giggle. She told
people her child was going to inherit a
fortune and she was going to be rich.
Her neighbors called the cops. Stacey’s
parents took them back home.
Kevin glanced at me. “Ms. Evans, Stacey is
crazy now. Do we need to investigate her?”
I shook my head. “That’s all.”
Even if Stacey said the story about being
reborn, no one would believe her.
I thought things were finally over, but my in-
laws came over.
