After hearing this, Synthia didn’t think much of it.
But she was really frustrated.

Darion didn’t say anything more and hung up the phone immediately.
He was about to put down his phone, but he suddenly thought of something. He called Rylan.
Rylan answered quickly.
The roar of some wild animal came first, followed by the desperate pleas of someone, but soon, the sound disappeared in Darion’s car.
“Hey, Darion.” Rylan’s lazy voice came through. His lips curved, saying with a hint of teasing, “Oh, you start missing me?”
Darion furrowed his brows slightly. He said slowly, “No need to be so cautious with me.”
Rylan lowered his eyes. He slowly walked to the couch and sat down, pulling his tic loose. Then he noticed the white shirt was stained with a few bloodstains.
A flash of disgust crossed his eye. His face turned dark, but his tone remained unchanged. “No, I won’t hide anything from you. It’s just…”
“What?”
“It’s dirty.” Rylan took a glass of wine and drank it up. “So, what’s up? I have a date later.”
Darion said, “I want you to help me check on someone.”
“Your ex–wife?” Rylan asked.
“No, it’s not her.” Darion denied. “We just need to apply for divorce. Nothing else between us.”
Rylan snapped his fingers and leaned back on the couch. “So that’s your new prey. That neurosurgeon’s student?”
Rylan knew Darion well.
Just like Darion knew him.
“She’s not prey,” Darion said.

Rylan laughed, “Darion, you rarely answer my questions clearly. Well, I got it. I’ll handle this myself and let you know as soon as I find anything.”
“Okay.”
Then Darion added. “I heard the matter with the Lutz family. Do you need my help?”
Darion was the richest man in Southdale.
The Lutz family was concerned about his attitude.
“They are just some trash. I don’t need you to deal with them.” Rylan licked his teeth and continued, “Anyway, if I can’t even handle the Lutz family, then I’ll be too useless.”
“Alright, then I won’t step in any matters of the Lutz family,” Darion said.
This was his promise.
The Lutz family was also one of the four major families in Southdale. It was wealthy and powerful. “Hi, Mr. Raymond, it’s so late. What can I do for you?” Kaiden asked.
Darion rested his hand against his forehead and asked, “Haven’t gotten in touch with her yet?”
He was talking about his ex–wife.
Kaiden scratched his head. “Sorry, Mr. Raymond. I think I’ve been blocked by her. I also asked Tianna, but Mrs…well, your ex–wife hasn’t been back to the Raymond’s villa after leaving. I’ll think of another way, Mr. Raymond, please don’t worry.”
“Okay,” Darion said. “Get in touch with her as soon as possible. If she asks for more money, as long as it’s not excessive, you can agree. Also, the Raymond’s villa can be transferred to her anytime.”
Although Darion never met that woman, they got married after all, and she never bothered him.
