Giselle’s words made me laugh in disbelief.
I replied with a hint of exasperation, “Giselle, you still don’t get it. You crossed the line by interfering in my life with Frederick. But flies don’t bother a flawless egg–even though Frederick lost his memory, that’s no excuse for cheating. You two are a perfect match.”
“Gracie! You think you’re so great just because you’ve latched onto someone like Azrael? Isn’t it also because he’s rich?“}
Giselle’s shouting gave me a headache, so I stopped engaging with those two lunatics.
I didn’t cancel my trip; from Tibet, I headed to other places.
At each stop, I kept sharing my journey and livestreaming, and my follower count once soared beyond a hundred thousand.

Azrael froze for a moment, then slowly came back to himself. His expression was surprised, confused, yet excited. “Tomorrow… I’m worried Frederick might back out. If you don’t want to come, I won’t force it.“}
“I’m willing to help you. Frederick never knew how to cherish you–that’s his loss. Recently, I heard some things about him. There’s been a power struggle within his company, and Giselle brought her pregnancy straight to his house to stir up trouble, and now even Frederick’s parents know about all this.“N
Speaking of Frederick’s parents, I remembered how his mother looked at the wedding.”
Now Giselle was causing a scene in front of her–I was curious how she’d feel.}
The next day, when Azrael and I arrived at the civil affairs bureau, Frederick was already there with a visibly pregnant Giselle, waiting for

Frederick stood beside her, his eyes fixed tightly on me, completely ignoring Giselle.
I met his gaze, wanting to get this over with quickly.

With that, I took Azrael’s hand and walked inside.
The moment I signed and received the divorce certificate, a heavy weight lifted from my heart. This binding marriage was poisonous. The sooner I got rid of it, the better.}
Just as I was about to leave, Giselle waved the divorce certificate in front of me, deliberately raising her voice.
“Frederick, let’s get married right away! This is an order from our mom. From now on, I’ll be the one by your side.”}
Hearing this, my steps faltered for a moment.
Azrael noticed and wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we walked out of the bureau.N

Giselle looked aggrieved, but her eyes still burned with hatred–both toward me and Frederick.

Azrael and I walked for about an hour before he finally took a taxi back to my apartment.
I didn’t invite him in, saying I just wanted some quiet.
