Jasmine’s Povi
The ambulance arrived just in time.”
Henry was rushed into emergency surgery, and Silas made sure Bianca was handed over to the police.
She screamed, threatened, spat, and even laughed as they dragged her away in handcuffs.
“This isn’t over!” she screamed. “Tll find you both! il destroy you!”
Silas tightened his arms around me, shielding me as the flashing red and blue lights reflected on our faces. “It’s over, Bianca. You’ve lost,” he said coldly.
“Thank you.” I whispered, hugging Silas.
If he hadn’t shown up when he did I wondered what Bianca would have done “No need to thank me, Jas, I love you, I’ll always protect you,” Silas said.X
In toward us.
We heard running footsteps and I turned just in time to see my brother running
“Oh, Jasmine, thank God you’re safe,” he groaned, hugging me.
Then he turned to Silas, “I leave the country for a few days to close a business deal and everything goes to ashes.” Silas shrugged, “That’s life”
At the hospital, Henry survived the surgery.}}
When I walked into his room the next day, his eyes flickered open
“Jasmine…” his voice was hoarse.l
I gave him a soft smile.X
“Why, Henry? Why did you take the bullet for me?” I asked quietly.X
He chuckled weakly. “Maybe it was the only way I could ever pay you back… for everything I did wrong ”
I shook my head, tears falling. “You didn’t have to.”
“I wanted to,” he whispered. “For the kids… for myself..
Henry’s grandfather stood by the door looking proud but sad.
I’m proud of you, Henry,” he said gruffly. “But now it’s time to let go.”
Henry nodded, finally accepting his place in my past
“I’ll stay away, Jasmine. I promise. You.. Silas… you deserve happiness.”
For once, I saw peace in his eyes.!!
Two weeks later
Bianca remained in custody awaiting trial. The police found evidence of her crimes not only against Silas but other companies tool She was facing serious charges so she’d be there for a long time l
There was no trace of her husband Jamie or her child either. It was like they didn’t exist
My pregnancy went smoothly, and the doctor assured me the baby was healthy
Silas pampered me like I was made of glass, spoiling me with foot rubs, cravings, and constant kisses. He wouldn’t let me lift a finger. “You’re carrying my heir, Jasmine. You deserve to be treated like a queen,” he teased one evening as he knelt and kissed my belly. “I already feel like one,” I whispered, cupping his face.
That night, we made love like it was the first time–soft, gentle, filled with tears and promises
“I love you, Jasmine,” he murmured against my lips. “I can’t wait to make you my wife again.” And he kept that promise.&
We planned a simple yet elegant wedding. Just close friends, the kids, and family?
Even Henry’s grandfather attended, giving me away like the daughter he wished he had.
The kids walked down the aisle ahead of me, dressed in matching cream and gold, tossing flowers, their faces glowing with joy. Cole, Clara, Chloe, Caleb, Camden, and Charlotte stood at the front, grinning proudly.
Silas stood at the altar, waiting for me with tears in his eyes.
“You look breathtaking.” he whispered as I finally stood before him, my lace dress hugging my curves, my bump visible and beautiful.S “You’re not so bad yourself, Mr. Larkin, I teased, wiping his tears.”
The ceremony was simple but filled with raw emotions &
Silas’s vows made everyone cry.!!
“I was lost before you, Jasmine. I thought I had everything, but I had nothing. You gave me love, a home, a family. I promise to cherish you. protect you, and never let you go.”
I barely managed to say mine through tears.
“You showed me that love isn’t about perfection but about acceptance. You loved my scars, my flaws. I promise to love breath.”
When the officiant finally said, “You may kiss the bride,” Silas didn’t hesitate.
He scooped me into his arms, kissing me like I was his whole world. And in that moment, I truly Cheers filled the air.

The kids hugged us tightly, crying and laughing.
“You’re stuck with us forever now, mom, Chloe giggled.
“Best stuck ever, I whispered, hugging them all
Even Henry came forward, offering a respectful handshake. “Congratulations, Jasmine. Silas” he said…

“Yes, I did,” he grinned. “My queen deserves the world.”
We danced, kissed, and made love again under the stars, lost in each other’s embrace
For the first time in a long time, I felt safe. I felt whole.}
