Rosie took two steps backward and muttered, “Was this wedding fake from the start? You weren’t planning on marrying me at
all. This was just a tool for you to punish me, wasn’t it?”
Jasper shook his head. “No. I told you. This wedding is real, but it’s the wedding of Amara and me.”
The anticipation in Rosie’s eyes disappeared completely. She laughed crazily and said, “So what? Amara is dead!
“Do you think that you’re so devoted? Weren’t you the one who believed from the start that Amara had set me up? You were the
one who punished her! I just gave her a push right at the end and locked her in the wine cellar. Weren’t you the one who refused to let anyone go and visit her at the villa? The person who killed her wasn’t me, it was you, Jasper!”
The veins on Jasper’s face bulged, and he kicked Rosie to the ground. “Shut up!”
Rosie began screaming madly and even tried to escape, but she didn’t get far before she was caught by the police and taken away.
After Rosie’s crimes were exposed, the wedding had become a complete joke.
Silas had just gotten up to return to the police station when Jasper called out to him.
“Silas, give me Amara’s ashes back. I want to marry her here today.”
When the members of the mafia heard that their Don wanted to marry a pile of ashes, they all came up to stop him.
