Chapter 20
“Enough!” Cyril Snally spoke up. “There’s no point in bringing up the past. He knew Lisa was behind it, but out of respect for Vernon, he chose not to pursue it
Seeing him defend Lisa, Trina just smirked and retorted, “Mr. Banks, you really done on her, willing to shoulder anything she does.” Her voice grew cold. “But even if you’re willing to take responsibility for her, why should I tolerate her? I’m not her family.”
Trina took a step toward Lisa, exuding an aura of authority. “Aren’t you here to settle scores over the viral scandal? Yes, I was the one who leaked it What are you going to do about it?
“How come the instigator is now playing the victim, while the person telling the truth is the one being condemned? Besides, who bribed the doctor to issue a fake medical report? Who made Cyril draw my blood? For three years straight, whose life was supposedly saved by all that blood- drawing!”
Fred frowned, grabbing Trina’s arm. “What’s going on! Drawing your blood for three years! What happened while I was away!”
“You’re lying! I was just confused at the time. I didn’t mean to do it on purpose.” Lisa wanted to deny everything.
three
Trina scoffed, “Whether it was intentional or not doesn’t matter. Today, I want answer. Don’t I deserve those three years of your blood back?”
Lisa, intimidated by Trina’s aura, paled and retreated to seek Cyril’s protection. But Trina didn’t want to let her off the hook. She advanced with overwhelming momentum. Before anyone could react, she grabbed Lisa by the collar and slapped her across the face.
The sharp sound of the slap left Fred and Cyril stunned.
Cyril regained his composure and grabbed Trina’s wrist, urging “Trina, calm down
Trina smirked, “Oh, now you want me to calm down? Where was your mercy when she was draining my blood!”
The more Cyril tried to intervene, the angrier Trina became.
‘If you’re gonna protect Lisa, then I teach her a lesson right in front of you. What can you do about it?” thought Trina inwardly.
Fred also stepped forward quickly, pushing Cyril’s shoulder and warning. “Let Trina handle her own affairs. If you interfere, don’t blame me for being rude”
Liu’s screams drew the attention of bystanders who came over to watch the spectacle
Trina, undeterred, turned to Cyril Cyril, if you have any conscience at all, stand back! You can coddle her all you want later, but this is between her
and me.””
She looked straight into his eyes. “If you get involved, I will hate you” Her words were spoken calmly but carried weight.
Cyril felt his heart skip a beat upon understanding her meaning and slowly let go of her hand.
Trina glanced around at the crowd and gave Lisa a cold smile. “Go ahead and scream, call everyone over to see which one of us is more famous.
As Trina expected, murmurs began to rise among the onlookers.
“She looks so familiar….
“Oh my god, the one getting hit, she looks familiar tool”
“Isn’t she the wicked woman who trended online for drawing someone else’s blood and almost killing someone a few days ago?”
“Right, it’s her. And the one hitting her is…”
Trina was thoroughly enjoying herself as she grabbed Lisa by the collar and shook her hard. “Hear that? You’re a rat crossing the street, and even Cyril has abandoned you.”
With that, she slapped Lisa across the face with the back of her hand.
La screamed at the top of her lungs. “Help me!”
The onlookers cheered Trina’s slaps on, saying, “Good hit! That’s what she gets for being so vicious”
Trina smirked, “Looking for help! Coming to your aid now would only dirty their hands,”
She mustered all her strength and delivered several more blows to each side of Lisa’s face, finally releasing the anger that had been building up in her chest.

Chapter 20
Liu’s face was swollen, and she lay semi–conscious on the ground, covering her face as she threatened, “I’m calling the police. I’ll have you
Trina remained calm and collected, saying, “Go ahead and e It’s not like I’m short on things to submit to the press, And don’t forget, I’ve got evidence of you bribing doctors”
She then stepped on Lisa’s ankle and coldly stated, “Lisa, this is the second time you’ve challenged me. If you dare show your face before me again, be prepared to pay me back in blood.“–
Lisa was dizzy from the brating, and with everyone around pointing and talking about her, she wished she could just disappear.
Desperately scanning her surroundings, she finally spotted her savior and cried out, “Cyril, help me, please?
That Cyril acted as if he hadn’t heard her, his eyes fixed on Trina the entire time. The promised Vernon to protect Liss, but there is no need to keep her completely unharmed. Besides… If a beating would satisfy Trina, then so be it.”
As Thina was about to leave with Fred, Cyril could no longer contain himself and stepped in front of them to block their path.
“Who is he?” Cyril demanded sternly.
Trina looked at him coldly and retorted, “Cyril, in what capacity are you questioning met Professionally, I resigned a long time ago. Personally, “you’re my ex–husband, we have no legal ties anymore.”
She deliberately Langed Cyril by linking her arm through Fred’s and said, “Do I really need to explain who he is to you?”
Without paying any more attention to Cyril and Lu’s expressions, she pulled Fred along and strode away.
It wasn’t until they were seated in the car that Trina let herself go, clapping her hands together happily. “That felt great! I’ve wanted to do that for ages. Last time in the hospital, I went 100 easy on her. This time, I finally got some payback.”
Making Lisa book foolish in public and everyone despised, was just too satisfying.
Fred remained silent, something that would have been unthinkable under normal circumstances; he’d have been sharing the spoils of victory with her by now.
Trina nudged him with her elbow. “Hey, what’s up with you?”
Fred slowly turned has gaze to her face, looking at her delicate and beautiful features, feeling a pang of bittersweet tenderness.
After a long tense silence, he finally croaked. “You’ve been bleeding yourself dry for that bitch these past three years!”
Trina blinked, startled, a wave of embarrassment washing over her as she stammered. “Uh, yeah, I mean… there was, but it—
Fred cut her off before she could explain. Was Cyril forcing you into this?”
Trina bit her lip, turning away to stare out the window, her lingers folgeling nervously. “Yeah,”
Guilt hit Fred like a pundito the gut. “Trina, you have no idea how much I regret everything
Honestly, Tria didn’t fully get it, but she went with the flow anyway. “I know. Don’t beat yourself up. I swear, from now on, I live for myself
Fred’s eyes narrowed, and he slammed his fist against the steering wheel, his voice dripping with anger. “So it was Cynl, huh! I’m not letting that asshole get away w
