Chapter13
Despite having my stomach full, I felt empty, like I was missing my heart lungs, and every important organ from inside my body. I slid down the kitchen island, sobbing into my hands and pulling my knees up to my chin. I have never felt so vulnerable and exhausted before.
I had fallen asleep in the kitchen, waking up with sore neck and shoulders.
Leo
If I hadn’t gone ahead and smashed my marriage for my selfish and awful desires if only I had craved her and not just the feelings of sexual contentment she would still be here, in my arms. It wasn’t like we stopped having sex, it’s that I was always so unhappy, or disappointed in myself that most of the time I rejected Leo’s advances, and most of the time one of was was already exhausted.
My watch beeps alerting me that it is time that I usually wake up.
Without bothering to take a shower, I changed swiftly. My next task, contacting that witch’s Father who was still the rightful owner and a Major Shareholder in our Software and Tech Company.
He was in Germany currently, and fortunately not too busy at the moment to spare me a few minutes. Without going into much detail, I calmly explained to him about the situation, worried he was going to explode hearing me blame his daughter who is responsible for all this. Partially!
But he listened rather carefully, hummed and sighed disappointingly.
“You are one of our most trusted employees and there is no doubt that no one can do as well as you did for that position. But, if that’s your decision I can approve your request.” He said.
I leaned my head on the couch with a sigh, one task down towards winning my wife back, many more to go. Forcing myself to get up and visit the person I never thought I would, but it was necessary to get it done as soon as possible.
I made my way into the luxurious building and the security put up with some minutes to get my visit approved. The elevator slid open inside her apartment, and I was greeted by the bitch herself, dressed in flimsy nightwear, that she definitely, thought was sexy.
No matter how elegant she looked or appeared she was a vile snake, who I offered my hand to bite and she had bitten so badly that the venom spreading was nearly irreparable.
“Wilson, so good to see you,” she purred, seductively walking closer to me. I stepped back, raising my hand to keep her away.
“Don’t come closer,” I hissed and pulled out the envelope.
“What is this, your divorce papers?” She laughed, trying to come closer again.

“I won’t say it again, fucking stay from me,” I warned loudly.
“Aw, I am hoping you would like it rough this time Darling,” she slurs batting her lashes. I couldn’t have been any more disgusted in my life before than I was now.
Scrunching my face, I threw the envelope at her and she caught it tearing it open, her sultry gaze turning furious.
“No, you can’t do this. I won’t let you.” She tears off letters into pieces.
“Too bad you don’t have a say in it. I don’t want to be around you any longer. You’ve already cost me my wife and daughter.” I growled.
“You can’t do this Wilson, I love you, I do. I admired you for a long time, but you never paid attention.” She rushes closer grabbing my collar, blabbering in despair. Her eyes watered as she begged me not to do it.
“Fuck off,” I pushed her away. It was frightening to see such a sophisticated person, acting like a completely mental case.
“If I only pushed you away sooner. My wife would be still with me.” I roared in anger, feeling my veins ache with my fury. She had tears streaming down her face, her head hung low. It was wicked but I relished her misery. Without bothering to say anything else, I made my way to the elevator.
“I wouldn’t resign if I were you Wilson, you don’t know me well. You don’t know the depths I could go to, to get what I want.” She warned.
“You do anything Alenia, I’ll fuck up your life. Mine is already fucked up it wouldn’t make a difference to me.” I spat in absolute disdain.
“You’ll be regretting this Resignation Wilson, I would fucking make sure of it.” She shouted like a freaky psychopath.
I never thought her threats weren’t empty ones.
