I was prepared to quietly observe the atmosphere of my own company.
That day, I was working diligently when I received a phone call from my mom.
I had already anticipated and distanced my phone when I heard her roar, “Martha, you ungrateful daughter! What have you done! The house has been auctioned off! And what’s the matter with those two properties, being repossessed? Now the tenants are causing a scesie at our doorstep, and we have nowhere to po! You better come home and handle this for me!”

Arielle burst out angrily, “Martha, are you even human anymore! Marcos got expelled from school, he couldn’t continue his studies!”

My mother immediately threatened, “You just wait and see, playing tricks, huh! I will make you pay alimony!”
I laughed, “Mom, I was just a jobless wanderer now, I couldn’t afford to pay much in alimony,”
“But don’t worry, I know a lawyer, and I will definitely sue Tanner for neglecting the elderly before you do.”
As soon as I heard that my eldest son was in trouble, my mother was extremely worried.

I waved my hand to let him not mind.
Just now, the lackey employee who greeted me and Arielle saw the general manager showing utmost respect towards me. They all came over to offer drinks and put on smiling faces, afraid of offending my new boss.
I didn’t pay any attention and said straightforwardly, “Tanner, you were fired.”
“And as for you two, who change their stance with the wind, my team doesn’t need people like you. Just leave!”
Several people were dumbfounded.
“Let Frida take the position of the team leader!”
Frida was surprised, but I nodded in agreement with her.
The general manager immediately complied.

Can someone like her treat employees well in the future? You will all be deceived by her sooner or later! It’s better to resign early!”
Tanner rambled like a mad dog, attempting to disrupt the employees‘ mindset.
Arielle also chimed in, “Exactly! I’m telling you. She hasn’t worked for years and has been relying on men to support her. Who knows how she got this position! It’s bound to go bankrupt sooner or later!”
Frida couldn’t bear it anymore and immediately started arguing with Tanner, “Ms. Glenn may not have been here for long, but she knows the company better than you do.”
The lackey employees, influenced by the situation, also began to mock Arielle, “So it turns out your family is not that impressive after all. You always boast about having multiple houses and having connections to sell goods, but it’s all just a lie.”
