The Divorce You Ch 19

Chapter 19

Everything in the bathroomthe toothbrush holder, shampoo, body wash, towelsbelonged to Hannah. Daphne tossed the pink bathrobe to the Boor, feeling like she had touched something diny. She washed her hands three times before she felt clean again

As she settled down, her anger grew. Why are Hannah’s things in my bedroom? she wondered

As Daphne stepped out of the bathroom, she realized, in her haste to enter, she hadn’t noticed that her room had already changed considerably.

What used to be a sleek, elegant space had been transformed into a pink princess room. The bed was draped with pink canopies and ribbons, and the walls were plastered with Hannah’s stuffeven the closet was overflowing with her clothes

If it weren’t for a few old decorations still around, Daphne might not have recognized the place as her own

So, they’ve cleared out my room for Hannah to move in? If this isn’t an attempt to push me out, what is? They are taking over the last bit of space I have in this house. How could Yvonne say they treated me like family?she sneered silently

Daphne let out a laugh, fueled by anger. Looking around her room, she fought to keep her emotions in check but failed. Her fists tightened, and she felt like she was on the verge of an explosion. She pulled out her phone and called Philip

What’s up, sweetie?” Philip answered quickly

Daphne was done with jokes, she was furious. Hannah has moved into my room

What?Philip sounded confused

Daphne took a deep breath and clarified. Hannah has moved all her stuff into my room and is living there now.”

Philip cursed. Why does she have to stay in your room! Isn’t there another place in that huge Shaw residence

Daphine let out a cold laugh, fully aware of the reason. Hannah loved taking her things, no matter what they were, as if proving herself the ideal daughter of the Shaw family depended on it. It was just plain ridiculous

Daphine didn’t call Philip to vent. She got right to the point. I want to throw all her stuff out.”

Go ahead. Get rid of it all,Philip immediately agreed. Knowing Yancey was around, he said he was on his way to the Shaw residence. There was no way he was going to let Daphne go through this alone

Feeling bolstered by his support, Daphne didn’t hold back. She flung open the bedroom window and started tossing Hannah’s things out Clothes, lamps, makeupanything she could grab. She even emptied the closet without a second thought

The loud clatter caught the attention of someone in the house. A moment later, Hannah’s piercing scream echoed from downstairs. Oh no! My clothes! My makeup!”

Daphne leaned out the window and saw Hannah below, her face twisted in rage under the villa lights, glaring up at her with pure hatred. A small smirk crept onto Daphne’s face. Feeling a bit better, she waved at Hannah, speaking slowly, word by word

From downstairs. (lannah couldn’t hear her, but she could see the slight movements of Daphne’s lipsit seemed like Daphne had just made a snarky comment Surprise

Surprise? It should be a shock! Hannah thought, her irritation building to a breaking point. She quickly turned around, and the next moment, sound of heavy footsteps echoed throughout the villa

the

The sharp clicking of high heels rang out as Hannah stormed through the house, each step heavy with angeras If she intended to stomp through the floorboards

Meanwhile, Daphne continued to toss things out the window. As Hannah burst into the room, Daphne had just hurled the last fancy Chunel outfit from the closet and casually dusted off her hands

Hannah was about to explode. Are you out of your mind! Why are you throwing my stuff out? Those are designer brands!”

Dauphine was casually discarding a wardrobe full of designer clothes and bagseverything Hannah had painstakingly collected

This was the third floor. If the stuff hit the ground, they wouldn’t just get dirty; especially the leather bagsthey would get scuffed. Showing up with damaged bags would make Hannuli’s friends judge hier, like she’d been digging through a thrift store bargain bin

Hannah’s anger intensified. If Mason and the others hadn’t shown up so

so quickly, she would have really wanted to confront Daphne

What’s going on here! Why all the noise Mason’s annoyed voice carried through the house before he even arrived

Hannah immediately teared up and complained, Dad, look at what Daphne did. She threw all my stuff out of the window. Her face displayed a mix of hurt and anger, a stark contrast to the fury she had just aimed at Daphne

Mason’s heart sank as he looked around the messy mom. Eventually, he fixed his gaze on the calm Daphne and shouted in frustration, You spoiled girl! Can’t you just talk things out! Do you really need to throw away all of Hannah’s stuff?”

Daphne leaned back in her chair, arms crossed, her expression stoic. This is my room. I can do whatever

whatever I want in here, and nobody can meddle.”

How is this your room!Hannah cried, her voice breaking. Dad said this room was mine. It’s supposed to be mine.”

Daphne let out a cold laugh and met Mason’s eyes. Have you guys even asked me!”

Mason froze, feeling a bit embarrassed. He realized he had forgotten to talk to Daphne about it, he just didn’t know how to bring it up. But he didn’t expect her reaction to be this strongit was just a room, after all

Thinking of this, Mason argued confidently, So what if I didn’t ask! You’re barely ever home, and this room’s just sining there empty

Hannah’s finally back from abroad and wants a better place to stay. As her older sister, can’t you let her have it for a while? It’s not like this is the only room in the house. You can pick another one.”
