After their final mission, Graysen Pearce and Caroline Ingram postponed their upcoming wedding
The entire riot squad was stunned.
Graysen loved Caroline to the bone. They had been together for seven years, and he even told the whole world that Caroline was the only woman he would marry.
But people didn’t know that something had happened.
On the bomb disposal mission, the kidnappers had placed over a dozen bombs.
However, Graysen put the last bulletproof vest on Marlene Wagner, who joined the squad later than them, and explained it to Caroline.
“Marlene is not as experienced as you. Let her have the last vest, will you?”

They commented one after another as if Caroline was the one responsible for the accident.
And they also forgot that it was because of her excellence that their lives were saved.
But they gathered together and blamed her.
With this in mind, Caroline remained calm on the surface.
She simply brushed off the dust from her body, raised her gaze, and said, “Alright, from now on, you guys will be on the same team as Marlene. I wish you all the best in your future missions.”

Graysen suddenly realized that he had gone too far and quickly tried to fix it.
