Chapter 5
The force of this slap was so strong that it knocked Alisha down to the ground.
Her face quickly swelled up, with even blood overflowing from the corners of her mouth!
Alisha felt a buzzing sound in her ears.
She couldn’t hear anything anymore, and she couldn’t see anything anymore.
She trembled as she touched her face, and the moment she felt the slap mark, tears streamed
crazily down her cheeks.
This was the first time Trevor slapped her.
Before she could even react, Trevor quickly disappeared at the front door.
Alisha took a deep breath and quickly got up from the ground, chasing after him.
She was afraid, afraid that Hannah would experience accidents that had happened in her previous
life.
“Boom!”
One after another, the dull sound of thunder accompanied by heavy rain washed over the entire
world.
And in the curtain of rain, Trevor was holding Hannah captive in his arms.
Hannah struggled incessantly, her voice filled with despair. “Today is the most important day of my life, and yet she did such a thing. How can you expect me to stay there? Since she still holds such
strong feelings for you, I don’t want to compete with a young girl. I might as well give you back to
her…”
Trevor, however, held her tighter and said, “No, Hannah, I could never fall in love with her. You know perfectly well how long I have liked you. Are you trying to break my heart by pushing me towards someone else?”
In the end, Trevor leaned in to kiss Hannah.
But the next second, a glaring car light came towards them from a short distance away.
In the distance, Alisha, who had just chased out, was seen as a bloody figure, completely frozen in place.
In the emergency room, the red light lit up.
Countless doctors rushed to Trevor’s side, frantically equipping him with medical equipment to administer emergency treatment.

But Trevor, disregarding his injuries, insisted on having them save Hannah first.
“But, Mr. Pownall, you were the most severely injured.”
His voice was weak and trembling, “Don’t mind me, save her first…”
In desperation, the doctor had no choice but to send the unconscious Hannah into the operating
room.
In no time, the doctor hurriedly ran out from inside and said, “The patient suddenly had a massive
bleeding. Which one of you has blood type A?”
Upon hearing the words, Trevor disregarded the nurse’s advice and ran off the bed.
“I was, draw my blood!”
“But, Mr. Pownall, you…”
“Shut up, hurry up!”
Soon, bags of fresh red blood filled the nearby medical tray, and Trevor’s face turned pale.
He finally lay on the operating table and was pushed into the emergency room only after
confirmed that Hannah was safe.
Alisha couldn’t bear to watch anymore, so she turned around and walked out.
She knew that Trevor loved Hannah, loved her more than his own life.
In her previous life, if she had realized this earlier, her ending would not have been so tragic.
Now in this life, she changed her path, but Hannah still had a car accident.
The root of this series of events was all because of her love letters and portraits.
But she really didn’t know how they were spread, she had clearly torn them.
Now it seems that the only person who could secretly keep her love letters and reveal them to the public is Hannah.
But why did she do that? She was already with Trevor, wasn’t she?
Alisha couldn’t understand and didn’t dare to think too much.
Alisha spent three days at home in a daze. Trevor was discharged from the hospital, and the first thing he did when he came back was to order his bodyguard to throw her into the cold storage room.
The moment she was thrown in, a bone–chilling cold instantly engulfed Alisha.
Looking at the pale surroundings, Alisha let out a bitter smile.

She couldn’t remember how long it had been since she had last felt cold.
After she accidentally fell into the icy lake when she was a child, her health deteriorated significantly, and she became extremely sensitive to the cold.
So the villa was heated all year round, and it felt like spring in every season.
But now, Trevor is punishing Alisha in this way, punishing her for her love for him, indirectly hurting Hannah.
Alisha instinctively curled up her body, hoping to find a trace of warmth, but it was ultimately in
vain, and she could only emit intermittent sobbing sounds with difficulty.
The servant outside the cold storage couldn’t bear to watch and whispered, “Ms. Calderon, why don’t you take the initiative to apologize to Mr. Pownall? Otherwise, how can your body withstand
it…”
Alisha’s eyes suddenly turned red.
In the previous life, she was wrong, so Alisha admitted it.
But in this lifetime, she didn’t do anything wrong, so why should she apologize?
Not to mention, Trevor’s attention was completely focused on Hannah now, and he wouldn’t be willing to listen to her explanation.
The fierce cold wind blew from all directions towards her, and soon a layer of frost formed on Alisha’s eyelashes.
She felt her heartbeat slowing down and her thoughts becoming increasingly blurry.
Finally, she slowly closed her eyes and completely lost consciousness.
